FRAUD – Parents involved in the College Admissions Scandal are Charged with Fraud

April 04, 2019

Federal officials have unraveled a multimillion-dollar scheme to cheat college admissions standards. Specifically wealthy parents “paid enormous sums” of money to William Rick Singer the CEO of ‘The Key’, and in return The Key would obtain false records, falsify admission test exam records (i.e., SAT, ACT etc..), fabricate athletic credentials and arrange bribes with officials at various prestigious universities to help get their children admitted into these top institutions.  To carry out these deceptive practices, money would be transferred to Mr. Singer directly, his company The Key and the non-profit arm of his company, “The Key Worldwide Foundation”

These parents could be facing serious prison time.  To effectuate these wrongful acts parents would transfer money to a shame non-profit foundation, which illicit charges for money laundering, wire fraud, mail fraud and conspiracy to defraud the US government.
